Owens Primary and Intermediate Schools offers students the opportunity to participate in challenging educational activities.&nbsp; Following the State Standards, G.A.T.E. incorporates critical thinking skills, discovery learning, and enrichment to fully&nbsp;involve students in their education.&nbsp; The two components that make up the G.A.T.E. program are Full-Time education and One-Day enrichment education.&nbsp; Students in the full time program attend Owens daily, receiving advanced instruction in the core curriculum.&nbsp; Students in the One-Day program are bused in from their home schools one day per week to take part in enrichment activities in Science, Computer Technology, Language Arts, Spanish, and Art.&nbsp; </P> <P>For more information on the two programs, please click on either the Full-Time, or One-Day links.&nbsp; You may also contact Bessie Owens Elementary, at 631-5420.</P> 650e5456c4b6e6478b794f631f97a31b John Peterson
